Unfinished Vacation

This demo was created for the Bakin Summer Jam 2023

It features a battle system similar to the MegaMan Battle Network series. It is still a WIP.

Just like in my other games, you play as Luke, a young wizard. He gets to take a vacation on a strange island when it is suddenly attacked by pirates. They steal his precious magic cards. He must fight to get them back.

There are two types of cards: Monster Cards and Skill Cards. 

- Monster Cards can be added to your party. In battle you can swap Luke with a monster using Q, E, or F. Use R to swap back to Luke. 

- Skill Cards can be equipped to be used in battle with X or C. These skills require MP to be used. If you're running low on MP, hold Z to recharge. You won't be able to move while you're charging. By default every character has a skill that doesn't require MP.

Since this is a very short demo you won't get any Experience Points, and you'll be healed after every battle. Also, Monsters and Skills behave very similarly, aside from their Element.
